Pat
I was so sorry to hear this. Enjoyed being with him and hearing him talk and visiting and playing music with him for the last few years. I pray that you will recover from this and enjoy the rest of your life.

I was shocked to hear of Byrdie's passing. A dear childhood friend and one of brightest people I've ever known- In high school, he actually built and ran a radio station out of his basement. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and his family.

Bob told me of your long friendship and how he enjoyed those years growing up here. Thank you Terry for sharing those memories. Many people remember his radio station. He has a picture of in a scrap book. Amazing.

I was so sorry to learn that Bob had passed away. I worked with him at ETV and dove hunted with him in Patrick S.C. many times. Bob always made us laugh and kept the fun going. He will be missed.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Back in the mid-80's. Bob conducted a basic course in studio recording sponsored by the RIAA. I was one of four students. I think I can speak for the others when I say that we all learned a great deal from Bob. He took his time explaining everything, and he always made sure that we "got it" before moving on. Thanks to Bob, I had a chance to work in live sound for quite a few years. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, and my deepest thanks to Bob.
