Testimonials

Thanks to Pope Funeral Home and the professional manner that director Doug Williams conducted the memorial service for my husband, William Turner. The service went smoothly, from the beginning to the end. All of the staff were respectful, helpful, and attentive to our personal needs.

Special thanks to Joe Silvia and Jackie Wilkes for their excellent assistance. William loved working there with you folks for several years. Our entire family appreciates your kindness to us in our time of sorrow. Thank you. Selwyn Turner

Pope's has always been there for all of my loved ones that passed...I want them for my demise, knowing, they have my family's best interest care first...

Over the years Pope Funeral Home has served many family member and myself included. I can remember services provided for my Great-Grandparents, Grandparents, and most recently my father.

Everything was handled with great ease and comfort during our time of sadness. Pope Funeral Home was also willing to help my mother pre-plan her services by visit with us at her residence since travel for her was difficult at that time.

Thank You!!

Owen Moore, better known as MATT WITT was a delightful young man and memories of him are that of a kind hearted and "witty" friend to those who knew him well. His father, Mr. Leon Witt and brother Mr. Brett Witt have been my best friends since I moved to Winnsboro, SC back in 1977.

In the days before his boating accident, Matt was a very bright and joyful soul to say the very least. He will be missed and is now in the hands of our Savior.

God Bless the entire family.

In 1979 my Father, Robert Odell "Turtle" Black died in the V.A. in Columbia,SC. Pope was in charge of the arrangements. We had a beautiful memorial service for Daddy's friends and relatives in S.C. He was then transported to Dublin, Ga for burial with Mama's family. We were so thankful for a hometown funeral home who were kind and thoughtful during our grief. Julius Cameron and Mr. John Pope were more than just friends. We will be forever grateful to everyone participating. Daddy's nephew Wallace Boulware drove the Hearse to Dublin for Mr. Pope. I know the "old crew" are gone but I still hear good things about Pope's of Winnsboro, S.C.
