Bertha Lean Windham

Ms. Bertha Lean Windham, 94, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the home of her loving granddaughter, Windy Payne and great granddaughter Ashley Tart Branham.  Born in Lamar, SC she was the daughter of the late George and Annie Amerson Windham. 

Ms. Windham is survived by four sons, Pervis, Hubert, Liston, and Larry Windham; brother, Grady Windham; two sisters, Margie Jelly and Joyce Mitchell; 26 grandchildren and numerous great, great great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Willie James Windham, Bertha is predeceased by a son, Lannie Ray Windham; and five brothers and sisters. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Washington Street Baptist Church with burial in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.
