I have not been able to keep up with JW as he grew and matured but have very fond memories of him as we grew up at MZI more than 60 years ago. He was a fun loving fella who was loyal to friends. He was a great dancer and football player. I seem to remember during 1 game he went up to catch a pass and lost his pants. He stayed on the ground til that fact could be concealed from the fans.
He introduced me to his bar-b-q at our 50th MZI reunion where Pansy supported us all being a kitchen worker during that reunion. He introduced me to French fried sweet potatoes...The bar-b-q- and his fries were great! JW the man with his endearing personality will be missed and only time will soften that for loved ones left behind. Know others and the Lord God and friends will be in your corner during this grieving time. I regret I"ll never see his smiling face again on this side of heaven, but the time we all will see him again is to be looked forward to.

Sorry for the family lose of a father and husband.
My last memory of JW was in the cardiologist office. He came out as always with a big smile. I asked him what he was there for and he told me how he had been rushed to the emergency room where they thought he'd a heart attack but he was dehydrated and his heart was fine. He always had a smile and a joke. He loved life. Prayers for the family.

Even though he was older, we were still in high school together and he drove our school bus at one time and I have known him and Pansy ever since.
