John Riley Mercer

Funeral services for Mr. John Riley Mercer, 70, of Winnsboro will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 Ninth Street in Winnsboro, conducted by Reverend Harry Varn.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. 

Mr. Mercer died on Saturday, April 30, 2016.  Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of late William and Nellie Johnston Mercer.

John is survived by his son, Jamie Mercer; daughter, Michelle Mercer; three brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, and Jan Mercer; and longtime loving friends, Daisy and Margaret Matthews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 Ninth Street, Winnsboro SC 29180.
