Ben will be missed as he was a reminder of our love for country and service to mankind. May we all aspire to live the life he did.

Grandaddy- I will miss you. You have given so much to your family and have been a tower of strength and inspiration. I have many memories of you taking care of us when we were children and giving advice when we were older. You also had a timeless sense of humor which we all inherited from you. Rest in God's peace and mercy. I know we will be reunited in a blink of an eye.
Love forever,
Tasha

Col. & Mrs. Reynolds were my 2nd mom and dad for 8 years as our families transferred from 2 Air Force bases in Germany to the Air Force Academy when it opened in 1955. Their son Clark (Russell) was my best friend. Col Reynolds family was always a beacon of light to me as I saw their devotion to Christ through a different lens than my parents' Presbyterian-Methodist background. I well recall the day Col Reynolds lost one of his fingers due to an accident while changing a light bulb. It taught me 2 valuable lessons:
1. Don't fear when you loss someone/thing near and dear, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
2. Be careful little fingers what you do....aka "Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack."
Looking forward to seeing you, Col Reynolds, when I enter that great cloud of witnesses.
