I worked on many projects with Blaine through the years and considered him a great friend and obviously to anyone who knew him, he was an avid Gamecock fan. I hope the family finds peace in this tough time.

Blaine was one of the most caring people I knew at SCANA. He always asked me how he could help. He was very bright and knowledgeable. He always found the time to help me design or debug our computer systems. He was a pleasure to work with.

We are so sorry to hear of Blaine's passing. I had the unique opportunity to work with Blaine at SCE&G. Our family has also been very fortunate to have your wonderful daughter be a special part of our children's lives through her work at Shandon Presbyterian and babysitting.
We are thinking of all of you and hoping there will be much laughter and joy through the tears as you cherish your memories and the legacy that Blaine has left.

To the Family of Blaine ~ I met Blaine during my travels to our Columbia Office(SCEG) and while our path did not cross daily or even monthly whenever he saw me it was always a smile and he wanted to know how I was doing. If I shared a comment about my children he would ask about them the next time he saw me. I am deeply sadden for your lost but God and your wonderful memories will sustain you.

Words fail to express how heartbroken we are over the loss of Blaine. We had the great pleasure of sharing many milestones together -- children, holidays and family trips to Holden Beach, among others. Of all of his many accomplishments, Hilary, John and Matthew are his greatest. Each of you are a wonderful testament to his legacy. Blaine was kind and gracious. His smile radiated with joy and his gentle manner was contagious. His life leaves an indelible imprint in our hearts and memories. Our lives are forever blessed by having shared his friendship.

Nancy and Family, It doens't seem like words are enough to express how saddened I am with Blaine's passing. He will be greatly missed. I learned so much working with Blaine since I joined the CIS team back in 1993. Lots of fond memories. I pray that you will find strength during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Blaine.

I had the opportunity to consult with Blaine from time to time on various projects. He was always very helpful and someone I could count on to have the information needed. He was always pleasant when passing in the halls and was quick to smile. I have no doubt that God just got another angel in his realm. He will be missed here on earth, but I know I will see him again one day. I pray for you to find peace and comfort in each other and the many wonderful memories I am sure you share of Blaine. Nancy - I have know Blaine since 1982, when I first started working for SCE&G. He was always a fine and gracious man. Blaine, you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers since he was first sick. I am so sorry for your loss.

Nancy and family, I'd know Blaine for a very long time and what I can tell you is that he was an incredibly fine person. He cared very much for his family, co-workers and the customers with whom he worked. He will be sorely missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
