William Franklin Beam

William Franklin Beam entered the glory of the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2016.   He was born May 28, 1955, in Fairfield County, son of Davis Jones Beam and Myrtle Berry Beam Jones. 

A memorial service will be held at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, SC at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 16, 2016 with visitation one hour before the service.  Burial will be private.  Visitation for his Lugoff church family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church, 162 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff SC 29078.

  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  A wonderful loving father, poppy, brother and friend, he put the needs of his family before himself and depended daily on strength from the Lord.   Bill was an employee of Fairfield Electric Cooperative for 42 years.  

 He is survived by his wife, Wanda E. Beam; two daughters, Angela Hendricks of Greenville; Jamison Young (Joe), of Elgin; and a stepdaughter, Amanda Guyton (Matthew) of Columbia; four grandchildren:  Jalen Hendricks, Gabriel Young, Noah Young and Gracie Young; brother, Davis J. Beam, Jr. (Vicky) of Lugoff; sisters: Carolyn B. Robinson (Reggie) of Winnsboro; Barbara B. Caldwell (Bobby) of Winnsboro; Helen B. Bradley (Tim) of Columbia; and many nephews and nieces. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Lebanon Cemetery Fund, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, SC  29180; and Project Hope Foundation PMB 358, 2131 Woodruff Road, Ste. 100, Greenville, SC  29706.
