Winnsboro Wyman “Buddy” Randolph Starnes, 81, of Winnsboro went to heaven on November 29, 2022. He was born January 13, 1941.

Buddy was a loving Daddy, Granddaddy, Great Granddaddy, and Brother. He loved Jesus, nature, cars, collecting coins, walking, Elvis, the Beach Boys, and westerns. He was a deacon with his church for many years.

Surviving are his daughter, Cindy Harmon of Lexington, his granddaughter, Jamie Harmon (Brian Lawson) and great granddaughter, Lydia Lawson of Lexington, sisters, Doree Moore of Winnsboro (Lexington), and Barbara Starnes of Winnsboro (Hopkins). He was predeceased by his father, Wyman Starnes, his mother, Ola Mae Starnes, his son-in-law, James “Jay” Harmon, and his granddaughter, Krista Harmon.

The family wants to give heartfelt thanks to his special friends, Mark Tomsuden and Julie Tumminia-Tomsuden, and to his special nephew, Michael Carrell and Melissa Carrell for all of their help and support.

Pope Funeral Home, Winnsboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
