Sarah Irene Sherrod

Sarah Irene Sherrod, 75, of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.  Born in Great Falls, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Isabelle Craig Ott.

Sarah is survived by her sons, Danny Ray Windham (Kimberly Singleton) and Roger Dale Windham (Michelle); brother, Gerald Ott (Joverl), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

In addition to her parents, Sarah is predeceased by her first husband, Lannie Ray Windham; second husband, Gerald “Tom” Sherrod; and nine siblings. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday evening, February 16, 2026, from 5-7:00 Pm at Pope Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Pm Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Winnsboro with burial to follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sarah’s memory to First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
