Martin Thomas Timms, 40, of Winnsboro was called home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Deevy and Cathy Timms.
In addition to his parents, Martin is survived by his wife, Courtney Collins Timms; brother, Daniel Timms (Callie); and nieces and nephews, Thomas, Titus, Catie, Silas, Addi, and Elizabeth.
He was a graduate of Richard Winn Academy (‘98) and later Clemson University (‘03).
Martin was a man of strong faith instilled in him by his parents and his church, Lebanon PCA. He was loved by his wife, family, and many friends. Most will remember him for his sense of humor and love for the Clemson Tigers.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Earl Ogburn. The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside. The service will also be live streamed from funeral home website starting at 11 o'clock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Martin’s memory to Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, SC 29180, Richard Winn Academy, PO Box 390 Winnsboro, SC 29180, or to Gideons International, PO Box 1142 Winnsboro, SC 29180.
