Margie Powell Stivers

Margie Powell Stivers, 75, of Gaffney, formerly of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ida Smith Powell. 

She is survived by her son, Billy Glenn Smith (Jennifer); daughter, Mary Ann Smith; sister, Doris Carter; three grandchildren, Colton Smith, Marshall Smith Osment, and Jessica Renee Smith; and three great grandchildren, Tre, Dantrell, and Candi.    

A memorial service with committal will be held at 3 o’clock PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Aimwell Cemetery in Ridgeway, SC.  The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside.  Social distancing will be implemented, and masks are required.
