Linda Wingard Williams

Linda Wingard Williams, 76, of Irmo formerly of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018.  Born in Gilbert, she was the daughter of the late William Bige and Ada “Cleo” Wessinger Wingard. 

She is survived by three sons, Carless “CW” Williams, Michael A. Williams (Renea), and Winston Al Williams (Priscella); brother, Wayne Wingard (Louise); sister, Marylou Campbell (Lyle); eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Winston Franklin Williams. 

Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Washington Street Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Dewitt Atkerson.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 South Pine Street, Lower Level, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
