Lee Walker Renwick, 27, of Lake Wateree passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was the son of John Calvin and Pamela Walker Renwick, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Lee is survived by his fiancé, Kori Strausbaugh; Maternal grandmother, Bonnie Walker; two uncles, Charles Renwick and Mike Walker; three aunts, Susan Odum (Joe), Debra Walker, and Amy Cooper (Brian); and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his loyal dog, Chevy.

Lee was a successful owner of three businesses, an active member of Bethel ARP Church, a Boy Scout growing up, an active member of Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of Richard Winn Academy and York Technical College.

Lee loved Lake Wateree and shared his love for the lake with friends and family. He was often called the “Mayor of the Sandbar” and could be found at the Sandbar every available summer weekend that he had.

Lee was loyal, wise, humble, and kind. He was always willing to lend a hand when his family and friends needed him. He was determined to achieve his goals and had the ability to master everything he put his mind to. The room lit up when he walked in, and he never met a stranger.

A loving son, fiancé, grandson, nephew, dog owner and friend. Lee will live on through his loved ones.
