Kenneth Rushing

On March 20, 2021, Kenneth "Ken" Rushing, loving father, son, sibling, and uncle, entered eternal rest at the age of 57 in his home located in Winnsboro, SC.

Born October 5, 1963 in Midwest City (Tinker Air Force Base), Oklahoma. He was the son of Marion T. Rushing and Shirley C. Rushing.

Ken was a decorated veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 16 years. He loved music, movies, and was an avid collector. Ken was always supportive and was known for helping others.

Ken will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Savannah Rushing of Beebe, Arkansas; his mother Shirley Rushing of West Columbia, SC; his sister Becky Black of Columbia, SC; his brother Paul Rushing (Melissa) of Monroe, LA; his sister Katie Jones (Russell) of Sumter, SC; and his brother Chris Rushing (Stacey) of Hartsville, SC. He also had 10 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and great nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Marion T. Rushing and brother-in-law, James Boney Jr.

Graveside services to honor Ken will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC on April 16th at 11am.
