John Thamer Luffman

John Thamer (JT) Luffman, 34, of Winnsboro, SC went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021.  John was involved in a single motorcycle accident in Richland County, SC. JT was born in South Dakota and is survived by his Father, Bryan Douglas Luffman (Monica) and his Mother, Betty Carol Luffman.

He was employed as a Project Land Manager by the Lyles family of Winnsboro, SC. JT loved the outdoors and if you walked the land with him, he would take the time to name every tree and every flower and what looked like a weed to us was an antique heirloom flower of some kind. He often stopped on the side of the road to bring his Mother fresh flowers as well as spreading that love to many others. Although a shorter life than average, his life can not be summed up in just a few short words. However, the one thing we can say is that he lived his life his own way.   

 In addition to his Parents, JT is survived by his Brother, Joshua D. Luffman; Favorite Sister, Tiffiny A. Burroughs (Jonathan) and Sister In Law, Amber Luffman. Nieces:

Andrea, Mykala, Stella Grace, Meredith and Ava. He loved his Loyal Husky Gage and his Precious Cat Cinderella (Rella).  

He was loved by his Aunt Donna Ferguson – Miss America (Greg), Aunt Lisa Oldham (Virgil), Uncle Joel Luffman (Angie), Uncle Victor Locks (Tanya), Uncle Mike Elliott and Delores Bryant (Granny D). There are 10 First Cousins and 12 Second Cousins. He loved his Best Friends, Bubba and Byron, along with his many other friends.

JT was proceeded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, John C. and Doris Luffman, Maternal Grandparents, Bill T. and Gerri Payne as well his brother Bradley Luffman.

A Private Celebration of JT’s life will be held at a later time.

JT will be deeply missed.
