Joan Floyd Croxton, 93, of Winnsboro passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Born in Cowpens, SC she was the daughter of the late Belser Wyatt and Nellie Gertrude Benton Floyd.
Joan worked as a spinner at the Winnsboro Mill for many years and then became a homemaker caring for her children and many of her grandchildren throughout her life.
She is survived by two sons, Hugh Lindsay Croxton, Jr. (Tonja) and William Alan Croxton; five daughters, Wanda Arlene Eisenhower, Joanne Isenhower Cash, Marilyn Isenhower Lakes (Timothy), Carolyn Isenhower Sanders, and Lynda Sherwood (Richard); 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Joan is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Hugh Lindsay Croxton, Sr., and her brother, Bennie R. Floyd.
Public viewing hours will be held from 10-4 o’clock PM Thursday at Pope Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 12 o’clock Noon Friday, September 10, 2021, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Winnsboro. Friends will be received at graveside after services. Social distancing is encouraged, and masks are required.

Joan was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
