Joan Bass Obituary

Joan Brewer Bass, 73, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Louise Evans Brewer.

She is survived by her daughters, Christy Claytor (Jesse) and Tammy Finklea; sister, Brenda Maready; three grandchildren, Jessica Perry, Christen Brewer (Philip), and JC Claytor; great grandson, Samuel; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charles Wayne Bass, Joan is predeceased by brother, Ronnie Brewer, and sister, Mary Brewer.

A private memorial service celebrating her life will be held from 3:00-5:30PM Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Lexington.

Pope Funeral Home is assisting the Bass family.
