Jenifer Nicole Ring Thorpe, 38, of Winnsboro, SC passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. Jenifer was born in Lexington County, SC on September 17, 1983, to Marion Kenneth and Karen Lucas Ring.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 23 years, Christopher Michael Thorpe. She was a loving mother to Christian Alexander Ring, 22 years old, Angelina Skye Thorpe, 17 years old and Makaylah Emoree Thorpe, 13 years old. Jenifer is also survived by her sister, Susan Clanton.
Jenifer enjoyed teaching at Midlands Stem School in Winnsboro, SC for the past 8 years as Lead Interventionist. Jenifer loved children, she loved being a role model along with and part of their growth process. Jenifer was patient and understanding, she gave all she could to those in her life whether it be work or family.
In late 2021, Jenifer was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and her battle begun. Jenifer, through it all, strived to be the wife, mother, and teacher she genuinely loved being. Jenifer often said during her cancer treatments that she had plans to be back teaching all the children she deeply cared about at Midlands Stem School.
Jenifer loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook, she loved animals, and enjoyed many trips to the mountains and beach. Jenifer was a person with a heart of gold and was one that wanted to nurture and give to those around her. Even through her illness, she was most concerned for her family and was devoted to doing anything she could for them.
Jenifer will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.
