Jeannette Williams Jordan

Jeannette Williams Jordan, 87, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, surrounded by her family.  Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Carless Haylon and Lillian Abbott Williams. 

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Jordan, and Valerie Jordan Sandifer; brother, Otis Beaufort Williams (Carmen); six grandchildren, Christian Jordana (Josh) Moore, Jordan Crawford, John Sandifer, Jesse Jordan, Christian Jordan, and Kaleigh Jordan; and one great granddaughter, Elexis Craig. 

Jeannette is also survived by her “adopted” daughter, Lisa Achkar.  Lisa has been her very best friend for many years; as well as her caregiver since the beginning of Jeannette’s battle with dementia. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Bobby Jordan; Jeannette is predeceased by five brothers, Jackie, Alton, Alpod, Winston, and Marvin Williams; two sisters, Richardene Broom, and Merle Nease; and son in law, Harry Sandifer, Jr. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Washington Street Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.  Burial will follow the service at Stephen Green Memorial Cemetery. Service will be live streamed on Pope Funeral Home Facebook page. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Street Baptist Church.
