Jane Lee-Bonnett

Jane Louise Clowney Lee-Bonnett, 83, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.  Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Annette Louise and William Meador Clowney. 

Jane was a faithful member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, PCA and retired from Fairfield Memorial Hospital as Admissions Office Manager.   

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lee Walker; son, William Kenneth Lee, Jr. (Darlene); two sisters, Mary Sue Hilton (Bob) and Lenora Bundy (Bill); brother, Sammy Clowney (Margie); four granddaughters, Brittany (Andy), Dixie (Louis), Haley (Will), and Chelsea. Three grandsons, Troy, Cain, and Bryan. As well as many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, first husband, William K. Lee, Sr., and second husband, Harold D. Bonnett, Jane is predeceased by three brothers, Benjamin Clowney, William Clowney Jr, and Edward Clowney. 

A graveside service will be held at 5 o’clock PM Friday, September 10, 2021, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Social distancing is strongly suggested, and masks are required.    The family will receive friends after the service at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shepherding Fund of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, SC 29180.   

The family is very appreciative of the care provided by Amedisys Hospice, especially Marcy Caulder. Special thanks to Ms. Faye Murrell for being a true friend to Jane over the years, especially during her cancer treatments.
