Gloria Reeder Hutson

Gloria Reeder Hutson, 80, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  Born in Monroe, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James Crowell Reeder and Marie Peach Geddings. 

She is survived by her son, George Lewis Hutson, Jr. (Lacey); daughters, Renee’ Vick (Greg) and Ann Marie Deweese; sister, Deborah Truesdale (Charles); six grandchildren, Justin David Hill (Chesnee), Abigail Marie Hutson, Dante Vick, Haleigh Ann Deweese, Camden Reid Hutson, and Toni Vick; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.   

In addition to her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, George Lewis Hutson; and sisters, Donna Ladd and Gail Goodwin. 

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church conducted by Reverend Kem Thomas.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.

The family would like to thank Ridgeway Manor and Amedysis Hospice for the care and love they provided.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gordon Memorial UMC.
