George Singleton, Jr.

George Singleton, Jr., 85, of Lake Wateree, passed away, surrounded by his family on September 27, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, the son of the late George Singleton and Evelyn Tripp Singleton.

Surviving him are his wife of 59 years, Joann Hannon Singleton, special sister-in-law Elaine Hannon of Greer, sisters-in-laws Ruth Parker of Gaffney, Betty Wood of Roebuck, Doris Hannon of Inman; brothers-in-law, David Hannon, of California City, California, Carroll Hannon of Richmond, Kentucky, Steve Hannon of Inman, and Ricky Bryant of Inman; brother, Bill Singleton, of Shelby NC; and his beloved cat Chloe.

 He is predeceased by his sister, Anna LaValley, sister-in-law, Sandi Hannon, brother, Tom Singleton; brothers-in-law, Tommy Hannon and Ray Hannon.
