Freddy Johnson Weed

Freddy Johnson Weed, 82, precious husband of Lea Meador Weed (58 years), loving father of Melissa Weed Williams (Ernie), and Rana Weed Kouns, and a cherished friend of many died at his home March 30, 2021.

Freddy is survived by three grandchildren, Mary Mason Kouns, Virginia Claire Kouns, and SPC Duncan Kyle Grant of Ft. Hood Texas.  Surviving siblings of Freddy are Carolyn W. Douglas, Jerry L Weed (Beverly) and Brenda W. Snyder (Ron).

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock PM Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at First United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Steve Elkins.  The family will receive friends after the service at the Weed home.  Social distancing is encouraged and masks are required.    

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, 109 West College Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
