Dorothy Frier Talbert

Dorothy Frier Talbert, 82, of Winnsboro passed away on Monday, May 2, 2023.  Born in Dillon, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Townsend and Clara Mae Gattis Frier.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Talbert (Tammy); daughter, Debby Colegrove (Vince); sister, Deloria “Snooks” Smith; eight grandchildren, Trey Talbert (Amber), Brandon Talbert, Cindel Peake (Tyler), Vincent Colegrove (Ashley), Haley Madden (Sean), Dyllon Colegrove, Hunter Colegrove and Jessica Bedenbaugh (Ben) and seven great grandchildren, Molleigh Talbert, Anna Talbert, Jennings Peake, Dansby Madden, Tripp Colegrove, Paxton Bedenbaugh and Adair Bedenbaugh.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Richard Talbert; son, Allen Talbert; brother, David Frier; and sister, Diane Windham. 

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Rockton Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the committal at her son's, Ricky Talbert, home.
