Clarence Fulmer Branham, Sr., 81, of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Born in Blythewood, he was the son of the late Fulmer and Clara Branham.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Braxton Branham, two sons, Clarence Fulmer “Chip” Branham (Lolly), and Shawn Franklin “Shawnee” Branham (Allison); two daughters, Taffy Branham Mincey, and Alicia Denise Branham (Becky Lamb); brother, Lawrence Branham (Mildred); eight grandchildren, Russell Boyd Branham (Rachael), Rion Fulmer Branham (Toni), Shelby Brooke Mincey, Mallory Erin Mincey, Christopher Branham, Reed Aaron Branham (Victoria), Chase Alexander Branham, and Taylor Catledge Branham; and four great grandchildren, Rhett Taylor Branham, Ava Lauren Branham, Wyatt Rion Branham, and Wilder Grace Branham.
In addition to his parents, Clarence is predeceased by two brothers, David Dwayne Branham, and Vernon Earl Branham; and one sister, Kay Hudson.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was talented with his hands, skillful in carving wood, and making walking sticks and slingshots. He could skin a deer like a surgeon quick and precise. Clarence was a dedicated worker beginning at the age of 18 with Uniroyal in the hot stretch area until he retired at the age of 62. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Graveside services will be held at 2 o’clock PM Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery, Smalltown Road in Winnsboro, S.C. The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside. Public viewing hours will be held from 3 -5 o'clock PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Pope Funeral Home.
