Clara Louise Ramsey

Ms. Clara Louise Ramsey, 91, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.  Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late John Weldon and Martha Phillips Ramsey.  

Louise is survived by two brothers, John “Jack” Ramsey (Betty) and Samuel “Robert” Ramsey of Winnsboro; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, Louise is predeceased by two brothers, James “Pat” Ramsey and Jean Ramsey; and two sisters, Mary Eliza “Peggy” Ramsey and Martha Elizabeth “Liba” Martin.  

Louise worked at Uniroyal Goodrich of Winnsboro for over 40 years.  She was a lifelong member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Lebanon Presbyterian Cemetery Association.

She spent her life as a devoted caregiver to her family.   

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock PM Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church conducted by Reverend Shane Martin.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall.
