Obituary
Charles Wayne Bass, 75, of W. Columbia passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Born in Fairfield County, he was the son of the late Christine Rabon and Bennie Bass, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Bass; daughters, Christy Claytor (Jesse), and Tammy Finklea; brother, Benn Bass, Jr.; sister, Faye Truesdale (RB); three grandchildren, Jessica Perry, Christen Brewer (Philip), and JC Claytor; great grandson, Samuel; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his brother, Johnnie Bass.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-7:00 pm Friday evening at Pope Funeral Home in Winnsboro. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Stephen Greene Memorial Cemetery.
