Obituary

Brian Allen Davenport, 54, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late Ellis L. and Mitzi Underwood Davenport.

Brian lived a simple life, spending his days hunting with his friends, fishing on Lake Monticello, and enjoying the quiet life the country brings. He was employed by SeaPro for many years, where he was considered a “world class boat builder” and was passionate about his career. Time with his three children was valuable to him; bonding over a game of golf, riding four wheelers, and grilling out.

He is survived by his son, Justin Lander Davenport and daughters, Brianna Lindsay Davenport and Mamie Grace Gaddy.

In addition to his parents, Brian is predeceased by his brother, Richard Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 Ninth Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.

Pope Funeral Home is assisting the Davenport family.
