Bonnelle Buzhardt White

Bonnelle Buzhardt White, 97, of Ridgeway passed away on May 24, 2020.  Born in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lawson and Eunice Shealy Buzhardt. 

She is survived by her two sons, John Walter White (Connie) and Thomas Robert White (Brucie); brother, Thomas Buzhardt; two grandchildren, Railey Guthrie and Elizabeth White; three great grandchildren, Mickey, Mattie, and Abbie Guthrie; and several loving step-grandchildren,  step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents and husband, John Richards White, Bonnelle is predeceased by two sisters. 

 She graduated from Newberry High School and Newberry College.  A high school educator, Ms. White taught French, Spanish, English, and Math for Aynor, Pelzer, and Winnsboro High Schools.  She was a longtime member of Sion Presbyterian Church. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 o’clock AM Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Sion Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Rebekah Carpenter.  Social distancing guidelines will be enforced, and masks are encouraged. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sion Presbyterian Church
