Betty Ann Haygood Ramsey

Betty Ann Haygood Ramsey 79, of Winnsboro, SC passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. Born in Blythewood, SC. She is the daughter of the late Johnny Boy and Ola Mae Frick Haygood.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Joyner, John "Robby" Ramsey, and Tammy Ramsey.

Her Grandchildren, Paul (Allison) Ramsey, Daryl Ramsey, James (Caroline) Joyner, Miranda (Clint) Harris, Samuel Joyner, Robert Ramsey and Jodi Bigham. Three Great Grandchildren, Colton Ramsey, Paul "PJ" Ramsey, Jr.  and Nathan Harris.

 Betty was predeceased by her Parents, Husband and sister.

Betty was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed working part time with Mid County Water, Co. for many years. Betty and her husband Jack were long time members of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. They enjoyed Western Square dancing, early years with Fairfield Swangers and later with the Camden High Steppers, along with traveling.

The family would like to thank Kindred at Home of Newberry, Amedisys Hospice, McLeod Home Care and Diane Moore for their assistance with caring for Betty.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Matthew Coplin.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall.
