Barry Croom Obituary
Barry Mondel “Del” Croom, 48, of Irmo passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the William J. “Bill” Croom (Pamela) and Pamela A. Spigner Culbreth (Edward).
Del graduated from Socastee High School in 1991 and was employed by the Carolina Opry for many years.
He is survived by his brothers, Jeffrey Ryan Croom (Marcia) and Matthew Harrison Culbreth (Kerrie); sisters, Jennifer LeAnn Croom, Mary Elizabeth Culbreth Oertel, and Sarah Rebecca Culbreth Hoover (John); and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Del is predeceased by a brother, Michael Cody Culbreth.
A memorial service celebrating Del's life will be held at 2 o'clock PM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church, 500 Seventh Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180. Social distancing guidelines will be implemented, and masks are required.
