Willie Mae Gunter Davis

Graveside services for Mrs. Willie Mae Gunter Davis, 77, of Ridgeway will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2017 at Aimwell Cemetery conducted by Reverend Jack Williamson.  The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday evening at Pope Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.  Born in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Marie T. Gunter.  She was a member of Ridgeway First Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Billy G. Davis; one son, Shephard E. Cook, Jr.; brother, Delmas Gunter; sister, Sadie Ferguson; three grandchildren, Jennifer Cannon; Elisha Cook, and Jeremy Cook; and nine great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Willie Mae is predeceased by one son, Johnny Cook; two brothers, W.D. Gunter and Horace Gunter; and one sister, Oree Baker.
