William Smith, Jr.

William Smith, Jr., 82, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late William and Flona Reynolds Smith, Sr. 

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Erline S. Smith; three sons, Tommy, Steve, and Brian Smith; daughter, Janice Talbert (Jimmy); sister, Hazel B. Christianson; five grandchildren, Christon Gaddy (Manley), Randy Branham (Heather), Abigail H. Smith, Jeff Talbert (Jackie), “lil” Jimmy Talbert (Nicole); and eight great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, William is predeceased by his brother, LeRoy Smith; and sister, Doris Branham. 

Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock Noon Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Cornerstone Church of God conducted by Reverend Ken Baker.  Burial will follow in New Hope ARP Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church of God, 165 Columbia Road, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
