Rudy Wayne Murphy

Mr. Rudy Wayne Murphy, 73, of Ridgeway passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017.  Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late James Alvin and Eunice Nelson Murphy. 

Rudy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianne Kelly Murphy; son, Gregory Allen (Susan) Murphy; brother, Eric (Donna) Murphy; four grandchildren, Ashlie Holley, Gregory Allen Murphy, Jr., James Murphy, and Jared Murphy; and three great grandchildren, Austin Murphy, Lauriana Murphy, and JJ Holley. 

In addition to his parents, Rudy is predeceased by his daughter, Karen Murphy; and three brothers, Herbert Murphy, Franklin Murphy, and Larry Murphy. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Centerville Cemetery conducted by Stanley Branham.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Pope Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Dave Harding, Lee Mintz, Jason Murphy, Adam Murphy, Michael Caine, and James Holley.
