How sad it is that you are mourning the loss of your dear Rebecca. Certainly, this is a distressful time. Please be assured that God is aware of your despair and in due time, he will indeed apply the value of Jesus sacrifice to forever end death and sorrow as indicated in the video link below. (John 3:16, Rev. 21:3,4). Please accept my sincere condolences.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Mrs. McMaster was my 7th grade science teacher at Mount Zion. One lesson that has stayed with me was when she took the class on a tree tour on the school grounds. She named all of the trees, but she was particularly fond of Crepe Myrtles. I always remember her when I see Crepe Myrtles, even after so many years. Reading about her life, I am so glad she had many traveling adventures with her husband and enjoyed a long retirement. She certainly deserved it after all her years with middle school students.

Bob and Sarah,
I am so sorry to read of Mrs. McMaster's passing. I hope she and my dad are passing each other on the way to Heaven now...I see she was two years younger than Daddy.
