Nicholas Parks Evans

Mr. Nicholas P. Evans, 60, of Columbia passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017.  Born in Memphis, Tenn, he was the son of the late Ralph LaFayette and Jean Koertner Evans, Sr. 

Nicholas is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melinda Frasure Evans; one son, Brent Vanover; one daughter, Tiffany Thomas (Jason); one brother, Ralph L Evans, Jr (Norma); four sisters, Jean Castle (Glynn), Peggy Whittle, Cynthia E. Peek (David), and Linda Chatham; and three grandchildren, Ethan Vanover, Benjamin Thomas, and Collin Thomas. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 6408 Bridgewood Road, Columbia, SC 29206.  Burial will follow at Longtown Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8010 Longtown Road, Ridgeway SC 29130. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 6408 Bridgewood Road, Columbia SC 29206.
