Nellie Branham Anderson, 82, of Winnsboro passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018. Born in Fairfield County, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Maggie Peake Branham.
Maw-Maw was the matriarch of the family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Hollis and Cathy Rice (Joel); daughter in law, Laura Anderson; brother, Calvin Branham; five grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Shannon), Brittni Girard (Foster); Marcy Caulder (Brad), Ashley Patrick (Luke), and Heather Broome (Brent); and eleven great grandchildren, Landon Caulder, Brantley Caulder, Peyton Patrick, Mason Patrick, Emmi Girard, Sadie Girard, Annie Girard, Laws Girard, Jolee Anderson, Jackson Broome, and Kendall Broome.
In addition to her parents and husband, Author JH Anderson, Nellie is predeceased by her son, Avery Anderson; son in law, George Hollis; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Winnsboro First Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Tim Anderson. Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 Ashland Park Lane Suite B, Columbia, SC 29210.
