Mildred Lyles Gustafson

Mildred Lyles Gustafson, 84, of Winnsboro passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018.  Born in Fairfield county, she was the daughter of the late James Davis and Minnie Castles Lyles. 

She is survived by her son, Mark Gunnar Gustafson (Peggy Sue) of Winnsboro; daughter, Kay Gustafson Hensley (Guerry) of Winnsboro; brother, James Fay Lyles of Richmond, VA; sister, Judith Lyles Glover (Charles) of Moncks Corner, SC; and two grandchildren, Richard Gunnar Hensley and Sybil Grier Hensley.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pete Gunnar Gustafson; Mildred is predeceased by a brother, Carl Grady Lyles; and sister, Betty Lyles Knight. 

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Greenbrier United Methodist Church conducted by Reverend Athon Arant.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends afterwards in the church fellowship hall. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenbrier United Methodist Church, 681 Greenbrier Mossydale Road, Winnsboro SC 29180.
