Martha Ellis Dove

Mrs. Martha Ellis Dove, 69, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late John Evy and Beulah Mae Seegars Ellis. 

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jimmy Dove; two daughters, Pam Rodriguez (Nik) and Leigh Ann Williams; step son, Chris Dove (Lauren); step daughter, Jennifer Cudd; two brothers, Ray Ellis, and Franklin Ellis; sisters, Gail Courtney and Cora Lee Ellis, and Kathy Tolbert; eight grandchildren, Brittany Gainey, Devyn Gainey, Hannah Gainey, Morgan Craft, Joshua Glover, Hunter Dove, Joey Wooten, and Kayla Wooten; and five great grandchildren, Isabella Craft, Bradley Denton, Carley Denton, Makenzie Wooten, and Tatum Wooten.

In addition to her parents, Martha is predeceased by three brothers, Ricky and Joey, and Bobby Ellis; and one sister, Vergia Mae Ellis.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Washington Street Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Dewitt Atkerson.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Pope Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Street Baptist Church, 101 S. Vanderhorst Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
