Lewis Bearl Brazell, Jr.

Mr. Lewis B. Brazell, Jr., 68, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. 

Born in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of the late Lewis Bearl Brazell, Sr. and Ruby Rollins Brazell.

Lewis was a humble, family oriented man and would give you the shirt off his back. He was dedicated to both his family and his work. He was in the painting business for over 50 years. He began painting in his youth and in adulthood, established his own business "Brazell Painting". He provided services to the citizens of Fairfield County for over 30 years. Lewis was a well-known member of the community and will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by two sons, Lewis Bearl “Bubba” Brazell, III, and Shane Edward Brazell; two daughters, Lesia Joyner and Donna Brazell; two sisters, Linda Thompson and Cheryl Broome; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren and his companion, Lisa Ann Patrick. 

Lewis is predeceased by one brother, Albert Bearl Brazell; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Dove and Phyllis Craft. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene conducted by Reverend Harry Varn. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
