Larry Jamison "Jamie" Matthews

Larry Jamison “Jamie” Matthews, 42, of Winnsboro passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Larry Knox Matthews and Janice McCoy Albriton and Miriam McCoy Murphy. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Devin Jamison Matthews and Nathan “Nate” Matthews; daughter, Mason “Masie” Raye Glisson; brother, Joshua Sanders (Denise); and two sisters, Katrina Matthews Gattis (Jimmy) and Jada Pauley (Fred). 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Dean Reynolds.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. The family request that guest wear their favorite college team shirts. Jamie’s team was of course, The Georgia Bulldogs.
