Juanita Geddings Collins

Mrs. Juanita Geddings Collins, 85, of Winnsboro passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. 

Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Hurbert Brazell and Rosa Stubb Brazell.  

She is survived by one son, J.D. Geddings “Buck”, Jr.; daughters, Rosa G. Wittmeyer, Liz Skenes, Cathy Branham, Betty Miner, and Terry Rutland; brother, Billy Brazell; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, first husband, J.D. Geddings; and second husband, Howard Collins, Juanita is predeceased by a daughter, Sylvia Whitehouse; brother, Hurbert Brazell; and two sisters, Nillie Carnell, and JoAnn Peak. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2018 at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene conducted by Reverend Harry Varn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5-7pm at Pope Funeral Home and one hour before the service in the church.
