Joyce Smith Mitchell

Joyce Smith Mitchell, 81, of Ridgeway died Monday, January 8, 2018.  Born in Lamar, SC, she was the daughter of the late Annie and George Windham. 

Joyce is survived by her son, Harold Smith; daughter, Tammy Moore (Darryl); son-in-law, Robert Simmons (Terri); brother, Grady Windham; sister, Margie Kelly; five grandchildren, Candace Stockman (Donald), Whitney Smith, Abby Lindler (Noel), Amanda Simmons, and Dustin Moore; and three great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her first husband, Harold Smith; second husband, Edward Mitchell; son, Jeffery Smith; daughter, Pamela Simmons; one brother, and six sisters. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Winnsboro conducted by Reverend Russell Galloway.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Pope Funeral Home. 

A loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, the family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the loving and caring staff of Kershaw Home Health and Hospice.
