Joyce Sumner McDonald

Joyce S. McDonald, 73, of Winnsboro passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018.  Born in Union, she was the daughter of the late Toy and Elsie B. Sumner. 

She is survived by one son, Donnie J. McDonald, Jr. (Fran); daughter, Terri McDonald (Brian); sister, Frances Martin (Dan); six grandchildren, Kelsey Boney (Lee), Christopher Brown (Kathryne), Andrew Mills (Carlie), Cliff McDonald (Camery), William McDonald, and Clint Mills; 3 great grandchildren, Jim Marsh, Mason Marsh, and Morgan McDonald; 3 sisters in-law, Diane Jeffers, Susan McDonald Lathan, Magdalene Sumner, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Donnie J. McDonald, Sr., Joyce is predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Donald Sumner and one sister in law Barbara Sumner. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday September 1, 2018 at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church conducted by Reverend Athon Arant.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall. 

Family and friends are welcome to visit at the home of Donnie and Fran McDonald, 140 Sunset Lane, Winnsboro, SC.
