Jimmy Barnes Obituary
Jimmy Bennett Barnes, 75, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born in Rocky Mount,NC, he was the son of the late William Hardy and Mattie Joyner Barnes.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Grace H. Barnes; daughter, Dina G. Boorda (Bob); brother, Roger Barnes (Cindy); sister, Brenda B. Thorpe (Sandy); and grandson, Harrison Boorda.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is predeceased by a brother, Eugene Barnes.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Sion Presbyterian Church conducted by Reverend Rebekah Carpenter. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sion Presbyterian Church, 116 W. Washington Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
