Jane Lyle Lucas

Mrs. Jane Lyle Lucas, 78, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Edith B. Allen. 

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Allen Lucas (Anna) of Columbia and Milton Todd Lucas (Lynn) of Houston, TX; one brother, David Allen (Susie) of Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor Nicole and Addison Parker Lucas; niece Sarah O’Shea and nephew Brent Allen.

In addition to her parents, Jane is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Jay Lucas.

Devoted wife, loving mother, special grandmother to Taylor and Parker, caring sister, loyal friend, devout Christian.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her. 

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro conducted by Reverend Meg Cooke.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
