I always held Jackie as a very dear friend. Although he gave me great advice I never seemed to take it but I knew that he was sincere and really wanted the best for me. I was too embarrassed to face him because I knew I let him down by what has become of my life and the advice that I elected not to take. Like everyone else I thought of him as the unofficial Mayor of Winnsboro. I have very fond memories of him that I truly cherish and I will never forget him. He was one of a kind for sure. God bless all of you through this difficult time. If I can assist you in any way please know that I am here for you. Remember your husband and father for the big harted person he was to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed and mourned. I'm praying for you all.

Uncle Jackie has always been bigger than life to me. I loved his stories and enthusiasm for life. Just being in a room listening to my parents, Uncle Jackie and Aunt Beasley talking, laughing, going to the Gamecocks for road trips was memories I will never forget. He often told us stories of growing up ( as wild as they seemed, I am sure they were never exaggerated). He wasn't shy about telling how much he loved his family. He will be missed but never forgotten. Just wish we would have had more time on this earth but will see you again in heaven. Love you!

Jackie and all of you were entrepreneurs/restaurateurs who have provided delicious comfort food to the town of Winnsboro from one end of town to the other--- the early days of the Triangle Restaurant in south Winnsboro and now to the present Barn Express in north Winnsboro. Jackie worked hard and was a good, kind man that we were pleased to call our friend. God bless you all.
