So sorry to hear of George's passing. We went all the way through grade school at St. Joseph's school on the far east side, then on to graduate from Dowling High School in 1963. George was an immigrant and a quick study as I remember he was able to skip at least one grade in elementary school. George was quiet and we lost track of each other after high school. Ironically, after reading his obit, I see he is being buried out of St Theresa's parish in SC and Fr. Higgins is the Pastor. we have a St. Teresa's Parish here in Des Moines and the Pastor is also a Fr. Higgins. His sister Anna, was a nurse and worked with my wife. Rest in Peace George!

To the family of George,,
I remember George, his parents and siblings quite well from our childhood days at St. Joseph's parish and school in Des Moines. I have fond memories of growing up with the Pudens kids. Please accept my sympathy and prayers.

We are very sorry on learning of the death of Mr. Pudan. I do not know him personally, but I know he has a happy family. Mrs. Pudan and Angela would bring us "goodies" to school. They both always had a smile and ready to help and share. I do not remember the others girls. However, I want to say to all of the family there is hope for those who have died. That hope is the resurrection back to a peaceful earth to live forever. (John 5:28, 29; Psalms 37:11, 29) May you be comforted by thoughtful deeds of others, fond memories, and by promises from God's Word.

Although I didn't know George personally, as a long, long time customer of Roses I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was always friendly and ready to help any way he could. I feel like I've lost an old friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Things won't be the same without you, George. I will miss your company at the kitchen table, hearing you help Maureen work on crossword puzzles, and watching TV with you two.
Thank you for your love and companionship to my sister, and your dependable stability in rough times.

Our entire family is so sorry for your loss. George was a wonderful person, father, husband, and friend. We pray the love of God enfolds you during your journey through grief and we send you thoughts of comfort during this time.Though our hearts are broken, we can rejoice in the promise that we will one day be reunited because of what Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die."

Much Love,

While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear . . , it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This is occurs especially when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take confidence in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the faith strengthening video ** Please accept my condolences during this time of distress.
