Emily Geddings Rabon

Mrs. Emily Geddings Rabon, 92, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Lou Belle Geddings. 

She is survived by her son, Glenn Rabon (Cheryl) of Winnsboro; two daughters, Gale Adams (Henry) of Winnsboro and Dale Ellard (Claude) of Rutledge, GA; four grandchildren, Todd Adams of Columbia, Glen Rabon, Jr. (Michelle) of Winnsboro, and Lindsey Adams also of Winnsboro; and five great grandchildren, Samantha Rabon, Stephen Adams, Daniel Adams, Caleb Adams, and Aaron Adams. 

In addition to her husband, Lonnie C. Rabon, Emily is predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters and grandson, Scott Adams. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2018 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Mickey Cockrell and Reverend Lawrence Dennis.  Burial will follow in Stephen Greene Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. 

Pallbearers will be Glenn Rabon, Jr., Todd Adams, Frank Peake, Chris Stillwell, Joe Stillwell, and Michael Hollis. 

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Stephen Greene Baptist Church, 500 Seventh Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180. 

The family would like to thank Carlina Sanders, Mary Anne Moyer, Loreen Jeffcoat, and Dale and Brenda Brown with MSA Hospice for their continued love and care.
